I love picking art for home decor. There is nothing more satisfying to me than to decorate my home in a style which fits my tastes, and becomes an extension of myself. Through the years, I am glad to say that my taste has evolved and I believe that my home really reflects my inner taste, dreams, and what I find as beautiful.

Recently, my daughter married and we went to her barren newlywed apartment. I cautioned her that often newly married couples want to live the life which their parents live and go deeply into debt to try and fast forward their life station to resemble their parent’s homes, surroundings and more stable financial stations. The lean years early on build more stability in a marriage if they are handles correctly by both parties.

She was in agreement, in principle, but entering her apartment for the first time to bring her belongings, it was a shock for her. She asked me to help her find some small pieces of art for home décor to make her surroundings more appealing. I agreed and we went shopping. I took her to craft stores to look at floral arrangements and knick knacks, as well as prints which they had there.

We went to garage sales and thrift shops as well. She found a few pieces and was thrilled. Finally, she looked online and made a Pinterest board of all the styles of art for home decor which she liked, making herself a place to plan her dreams.

I am looking forward to seeing her own style develop in the next several years!

Grand Junction Used Cars in Our Town

I have daughters that are triplets. As they neared their sixteenth birthday, their father and I started to get really worried about providing them with cars. Even though we do fine financially, we wanted to die when we figured out how much it would cost for three more car payments, insurance for three more drivers, and gas for three more cars. We decided we needed to do everything we could to lessen the financial burden. We looked into Grand Junction used cars in our town. We knew that our girls would be fine driving used cars, but we wanted them to have options and drive something they each liked.

We found a Grand Junction used cars in our town that had many different options we thought our girls would like. The day before their birthday we took the girls down to the Grand Junction used cars in our town and let them each pick out a car. They were so excited with the selection they had to choose from. Super Deadener

There are superheroes that are well known and superheroes that people don’t know much about. One superhero like this is Super Deadener. Super Deadener has the power to make everything silent.

One day Super Deadener’s emergency phone started ringing and he knew that he was needed somewhere. He read the location and flew away to save the day. When he arrived on the scene, Super Deadener realized that there was a wildfire rushing towards the city, but the mayor wasn’t able to evacuate the city because it was too loud for him to give instructions to all of the people. Super Deadener made everything quiet so that the mayor could talk. It was so quiet in the entire city that you could hear a pin drop. As soon as it was quiet, the mayor explained what was going on and gave instructions for everyone to safely evacuate the city. As soon as he finished everyone in the city followed his instructions and made it safely out of the city. After the fire was contained and everyone returned to the city, the mayor decided that Super Deadener should receive an award for helping the city. The city had a big festival for Super Deadener and gave him an award.

My Home Picture Archiving and Communication System

I have almost forty thousand pictures on my home PC. I got my first digital camera about eight years ago, and I guess I just went crazy. I took tons of pictures with film cameras too, but it got expensive. Thanks to digital photography, we can take as many pictures as we want, and we don’t have to pay to get them developed. My home picture archiving and communication system on my desktop computer is very organized. It has to be, with that much information!

I share pictures with people constantly. I am an avid blogger, and I own and update a few blogs on a daily basis. I keep the pictures for my fitness blog in one place, the pictures for my healthy recipes blog in another place, and so on. My siblings live in another state, so I am often sending them pictures and getting picture updates of their kids that I do not get to see often. With so much information and so many pictures coming and going, it is important that my home picture archiving and communication system is up to date and organized. I really take pride in how well organized my electronic files are!
